Reading that a new cable channel has taken the rights to La Liga off Sky , and taken Serie A off BT Sport.

Bit pissed off that the only foreign leagues I watch anything of are disappearing & can't imagine any reduction in the package fees to compensate.

No idea who the new people are ( 11 - I think they are called )

As long as it doesn't affect my £6.50/month sports package, I'm happy sky are getting bummed.

Yeah read that yesterday. I do not watch the Spanish league as I find it boring but I am hacked off BT lost Serie A because I watch that a lot. There is talk this 11 company may lay off both leagues live games to Sky and BT for a wedge. If BT do not show Serie A or want more money on top of their recent increase I will be binning BT Sports off when it comes up for renewal even if it is the only place to watch Champions League this season.

I’m intrigued by City’s attacking line up. I know they’ll rotate them.... but say CL final against us in Madrid.. How do you pick three from Aguero, Jesus, Sane, Sterling, and now Mahrez? Madness.

Plus the two Silvas.

Seems sensible rather than mad to me. Get a couple of injuries or suspensions and you can still field a full strength team.

If we were to mount a decent assualt on all 4 comps next season we could be looking at close to 70 games - to manage that kind of workload and be able to field teams where we don't turn to shite as soon as you take a couple of players out we need a deep squad with quality.

Not to mention how much genuine competition for places can really help push players to improve their level.

We saw last season how we were down to absolute bare bones at end of season as games game thick and fast in midfield and how in the biggest game in football ended up bringing on a slow midfielder who had been injured most of the season to replace our leading scorer.
