He's left footed and didn't start a single game down the left for Stoke. He played as a number 10 or a right sided player so he could cut inside onto to his left foot. He's anything but a hug the touchline player.

 

His stats aren't rubbish either. They're not exceptional but far from rubbish. Salah's stats improved massively under Klopp and our style of play. So it's entirely possible that Klopp could squeeze that bit more out of Shaqiri. As could he benefit by playing in a more attacking system, rather than some of the defensive systems he would on occasions play in under Lambert at Stoke.

 

It's the heavily edited and selective YouTube highlights clip, but I just can't agree that this shows a shit and slow player.

 

It's a no brainer for me at the price quoted. If Stoke stayed up and sold him, they'd be wanting £35-40m in the current market.
