Only last week he spoke about the midfield, in response to a question from James Pearce, he said how our system isn't conducive to creating goal scoring opportunities and that buying a goal scoring midfielder doesn't translate to goals for us. 

I'm pretty sure he said he wants more goals from midfield. It was when he was talking about transfer policy and the question of who we would buy if we were buying anybody.

Thought he said that the team always wants to score more golas but we would have to tweak the system to do that from midfield.
