Xherdan Shaqiri

The look on his face when talking well listening to Klopp as he came off, as I said elsewhere, said a lot.

I've always rated him, definitely as a squad member, obviously his injuries have been a concern but that seems to go for most footballers these days, as they're more highly tuned than before.

I hope he continues to make his mark at LFC for a while yet.

He was annoying me a bit in the first half on Sunday (and Origi) but there was a big improvement second half, capped by that brilliant ball.

I’ll always love Shaq for coming on and scoring two against the Mancs. I never forgot stuff like that.

I actually thought Origi did a decent job too. Much better than recent performances.

I love the little fucker. Capable of some absolute magic. I think the boss gave a reason he doesnt start as often as he could when he was talking about Minaminos loan - his size.

"we didn’t give him enough chances, that’s the truth. That’s for different reasons. Sometimes it was just the size; because of our problems in defence we were not tall enough and then Takumi on the pitch you think, ‘OK, how can we do that then?"

I think Klopp is a bit shit to him really at times. Don’t know if there is something behind it, but he makes him look daft quite often when they interact

Well, he's a bit of a luxury player that has bounced around clubs and has probably had a worse career than he should have had, relative to his talent. I think Klopp has known he needs to be demanding and a bit of a dick towards him to get what he wants out of him.

Doesn’t sit right with me. Public beratings and brushing hugs off to run over to someone else is some petty shit.

Two main reasons why I like him. Firstly, he can create something out of nothing, and that is a rare trait. Secondly, he is a winner - league titles in three countries; European Cups, Super Cups and Club World Cups with two different clubs. When teams win stuff with him in the squad, it's probably not a coincidence.
