Before he leaves can we find out if he prefers The Doors or Creedence Clearwater Revival.

CCR, like a normal person...along with pineapple on your pizza, beans on your breakfast, etc.

Not good for the club this, makes you wonder how many more will follow.

Hopefully it’s a coincidence that we have a handful of positive tests over a short period of time, and not the sign poor procedures.

is it not just the nature of the disease? it's highly contagious, we accept footballers have a job where they can't socially distance and they are living in a UK hot spot. it's why they're tested every other day.

i am guessing he had covid or was self isolating when he missed the last 2 games.

Will get worse after the international break. The only 'good' thing about it is most clubs will be affected. The whole country will be in lockdown soon. The clubs all over Europe really do need to start kicking back against FIFA organising internationals right now. Clubs are going to be decimated.

Not happened at Everton, though. For example. That may be good fortune, of course...

I was asking yesterday why he was pulled from the Arsenal if no deal was close with any club.

If it turns out it was because he was under the weather and that he wasn't tested, wouldn't there be serious ramifications from UEFA for us for potentially sending a infected player to international duty?

You would imagine that players are tested prior to being allowed to mingle with other players on an international meet up.

So many questions here, but more importantly, but from a club point of view, how many other players potentially are infected?

Pull anyone from international duty and get the entire squad isolating.

It's bizarre the Swiss FA announcing this. How have they got the test result so quickly?

Ive no doubt the club has stuck to the protocols, whether some players have remains to be seen. But with Sancho and his buddies attending another player's birthday party, it's easy to see how it can spread.

The authorities cannot apply sanctions, especially UEFA and FIFA seeing as they are making players travel all over the world to places where protocols may not be so good.
