I’d take De Bruyne and Sane in an instant.

Looking at the city players lining up for the game at ours my other half asked me if I liked any of the city players and he was the only one I'd have. Great player and not a nob like the rest of them. They really struggle without him. He has a soft spot for us so you never know.

De Bruyne is great - has a proper old school mentality about him. Very endearing. Strikes the ball as sweetly as any I’ve seen too. Not sure City suffer that much without him though - they seem to have been a bit ropier in some respect with him in the team this year? He seems a little bit slow across the ground sometimes for such an expansive side when they are out of possession especially. Would be perfect as the most forward player in our midfield though.

What a fucking player this guy is

Lovely compilation, that. Every time he does the DM thing, he doesn't just stop the opponent, but he either comes away with the ball or finds a teammate. And those chipped forward passes are a bit special, too.

I think there are probably a few question marks surrounding De Bruyne's fitness given the amount of injuries he seems to have had in recent times. I do like him as a player,a lot,and it was obvious to see that when he played in the Bundesliga that he was destined for bigger and better things.

Bar when they have defenders injured, City don't really miss anybody when they're out. They have a high level alternative for every midfielder and attacker.

Racism incident aside, if we could have one player from them, I'd have Bernardo Silva. He really reminds me of Iniesta.

Big big blow, but I think we can get by without him. He’s absolutely outstanding and one of first names on the teamsheet but we have been an absolutely fantastic team 15 months before he was fully integrated into the side.

Have to be looking at Gini most likely to fill in in the 6, Henderson did a good job there before Fab but I think Gini’s more tactically astute, so looking at midfield of Gini, Henderson, Ox and try get Naby up to speed. We have Milner, Shaq and Lallana to fill in too.

Trying to look on the bright side.

It's a busy period so he's likely to miss alot of games, but the actual teams we play aren't anything to sweat over, between now and boxing day when we play Leicester the highest placed team we play is Bournemouth in 11th.

As long as he's fit for the end of December-beginning of January then we'll be sound without him.

A few of the hysterical fannies on here wrote our season off after Alisson got injured on day one, and we ended up winning every game while he was out.

We are conceding goals with him in the team and look a bit out of sorts going forward. Maybe a slight shift and Ox coming in might get us going with the extra runner from midfield. If we had won against Napoli I'd be aloy more comfortablr with just the Leicester game
