I have to disagree Numero on this one. Lucas was a limited footballer for us, but he was very good at tackling. Quite clever at commiting tactical fouls too. Not elite. I’d say Hamann was brilliant at winning duels, and Mascherano was excellent at sliding tackles. They were elite.
