That's a great video. I like that it shows the bad as well as the good bits from his performance. That said, there wasn't much bad was there? His tacking, progressive distribution and runs with the ball - all very impressive. I appreciate 4-2-3-1 may not suit every opponent but him and Gini in that deep 2 is pretty darn exciting.

A new signing having their first good game after a tough start is a bit like the joy at experiencing the first flower of spring. Felt similarly when Oxlade-Chamberlain started turning it on last year. Last season's story and the uncertainty of a title challenge is still in our minds. This marks a turning point when new possibilities start to flourish and we can write a new story.

Another very good game.  Got the moves going for our last couple of goals aswell didn't he?  Klopps played a blinder with him by breaking him in slowly similar to what he did with Robertson.

It's almost like he knows what he's doing with the players he signs.

Can was absolute dogshit, he always was, don't know why anyone talks about him.

This lad has got serious skills, exactly the type of player we've needed since Masch fucked off.

Between him and Big Virg we've really sorted our problems in the spine and added that steel I think.

The thing I really like about both him and VVD is their ability to look for a pass, then if one isn't on, just move through the space in front of them. One of the most infuriating things about this side has been the amount of sideways movement from players either unwilling or unable to simply stroll past a shit player who's merely standing vaguely in front of them.
