Some sense in this thread at last. Regardless of the motivation behind it (after all, all sports ultimate objective is to win) to achieve it by going down to those levels is, as you've said, despicable. Regardless of the outcome of the match, to deliberately snap a person's arm out of their socket (and possibly worse) must lead to such suffering by the recipient that this should be enough of a reason for the person even thinking of inflicting it, not to do it.
