Neymar operates in the same wide position Phil does so that was never going to happen, but at the least get your best Forward in the middle on the pitch. It’s one thing to have your favorite and say his form for Brasil has been better going into the tournament. It’s another entirely to ignore the massive impact a players sub has in cameos as contrasted to the player he’s replacing doing fuck all for about 85 minutes a game.

 

At this point, even if they came back to win this I’d say he should be fired after the tournament. Wouldn’t surprise me if he has some stake in Jesus endorsements or something, although to be fair if that were the case it’d be all the more reason to get him off the pitch given his form here.

Not remotely shocked by this, we can take the piss out of Bobby Brown Shoes all we like but that side has some real talent in it, they play at the highest level week in, week out and they pissed their qualifying campaign to the point that they made England's own stately procession to the tournament look like a gritty battle by comparison.
