Not sure there is much in it between the two. Top class players, but neither will ever be the main man at a club that wins the league or champions league. Lukaku because he goes missing in every single big game, and Kane because his selfishness is fine for a side like Spurs, but not for a team that needs to win stuff. Essentially, his ability doesn't quite match his selfishness (you can just about get away with it if you're Ronaldo, for example).

 

I honestly wouldn't swap Firmino for Kane.

Kane is a world class scorer. But as much as the English mrdia and spurs fan want to push it he isnt in the same class of Salah,Messi,Suarez or even Bale.

International football is not a good example of showing whether a player is world class or not because there are top class players in almost every country in the world now and the best players will more likely come together at club level as they don't have to all share a country of birth.

Harry Kane is not world class,half of his goals were penalties and he was at his worst when needed the most. He is a top class goalscorer,on his own terms but unless he improves his all round game he doesn't deserve a world class tag. To be fair,England hasn't got a world class player in it's ranks at the moment just a combination of good,very good and average. When your league is made up of so many non nationals that is no big surprise.
