It's just sunk in that we're 90 minutes away from a Champions League final against a team who we can really get at and beat.

I feel sick.

It's fucking ridiculous isn't it.....fuck knows how i am gonna do any work tomorrow i just want the game to start!

The away goals rule is a funny thing. It came about back in the day to try to encourage some football, rather than a dour display where you just played to contain them, before taking it back home.

I really like the rule with our current team and the way we go about our business under Klopp. We have the players who can go anywhere and give the opposition problems. Even if we are under the cosh for the bulk of it, we only need a few minutes here and there where it clicks and we can score two or three.

Conventional wisdom says playing at home second leg is preferred, as you know what you have to do in front of your own fans. Arguably, Klopp’s side is turning conventional wisdom on its head. Blow them away at Anfield first leg, then go away from home and really give them something to worry about on their own patch!

It was also introduced because european play offs on a neutral ground if the score finished level after two legs were difficult to schedule plus ties could be settled on the toss of a disc. I am not certain if that is how we got to the Cup Winners Cup final or another game but with the aggregate score level Ron Yeats called red on the toss of the disc and won.

Edit it was against Cologne and Rowdy says it was tails.

My only concern is how the team is handling the departure of Buvac. The timing is so fucked up, I'm fuming. Ordinarily I wouldn't be too worried. We are way superior to Roma, we should not have too many concerns otherwise.

If it's just a falling out and he comes back, Buvac will be like a new signing for us. Imagine the lift it will give the lads if he's back for the final.

Or better still, Colin Pascoe walks the team out in Kiev.

In his shorts.
