Buvac gone?

Sometimes relationships just run their course. Klopp is known to be quite effusive in his praise for his staff, and had called Buvac 'The Brain'. it seems the trouble with Buvac started when Ljinders came on the scene, and he appeared to be a bit, or even very jealous, of the relationship building up with Klopp, who, like Pep Ljinders always has a very positive and humorous outlook and personality, so why wouldn't these two like-minded personalities get along? It seems to be a case of jealousy and insecurity in his own position and relationship, but that was his own problem, and only his.

I can't see Jurgen having any time for pettiness like that, and presumably, was willing to let him go, with good grace, not wanting his sullen behaviour to be souring an otherwise very happy training environment. He's always appeared to want to do what's best for the person, rather than the club or his own needs. He's continued to only look forward, work positively with an increasingly influential Ljinders towards a Champions league, World Club Cup and ultimately, the League title without having to look back and rue any perceived loss. He's got a great team around him whom he trusts implicitly, so whatever he feels he may have lost with the departure of Buvac, will surely be covered with the expertise of so many other professional experts in the team.

There's more than a tinge of bitterness in the remarks, and in particular, the lack of mention of Klopp when he says he's happy for Liverpool, the fans etc. There's one thing we all know about Klopp and that would be that he wouldn't have any time for such negativity, or bitterness. He's got a very successful team to manage, another title to attack and win, and anyone not on board with that can fuck off and go their own way.

Buvac seems a snidey man. Fancy coming out with this just as we have had our worse result for decades. Didn’t say it when we were winning everything did he?

I think the interview was before the Villa game. More likely to be timing from The Athletic.
