This is a good shout.

 

After the three I mentioned as "the only real choices" (Gerrard for Milner, Hansen for Lovren, or Souness for Henderson) this one stands out. I had forgotten the little Argentine but going into a final against Real or Bayern a prime Mascherano would be a massive improvement to our current side.
