Roma drew 0-0 with Lazio away. Leaves them 4th, a point in front of Inter.

Interesting tweets from this guy who's a freelance journo who covers Roma:

Won’t be popular, but assuming Roma continue like this, Di Francesco should undoubtedly prioritise Serie A over the Champions League. Missing out on the Champions League revenue would be catastrophic for Roma, a nightmare.

Surely Di Francesco cannot cite lack of luck this evening, created hardly anything and the opportunities they did create, again, didn’t find the back of the net.

Roma so poor at finishing. Really astonishing when you think about the number of points they’ve left on the table because they’re not clinical.

You couldn’t tell Roma have a man advantage, absolutely nothing going forward.

Watched that game last night. The two centre backs are solid and good at defending set pieces but they nearly got opened up twice. Once when Lukaku played a long ball down the wing and the centre forward got on the end of the resulting pass. This was still while Lazio had ten men.

Their midfielders are ok but they rely on Dzeko in the air a lot. We've addressed that with Van Dijk so hopefully he should have the measure of him.

I think they are just going to try and frustrate us.

Getting to a CL semi final and prioritising qualifying for the group stages.

Cool story modern football.

Wasn't it Stoke a few years ago who played a weakened team in arguably the biggest game in their history in a European tie to save players for a league game to help them towards qualifying for the very competition they were treating with disdain...?

The shitness of modern footy all over and sadly a reflection on how money is now more important than actually competing to so many

To update a well known bitters phrase "it is not the winning it is the making he revenue that counts"

Starting to stress and thinking they are the worse team we could have gotten. They will sit back at Anfield and try to nick an away goal. We struggle more against teams like that than teams who want to play.

However, if we had gotten Real Madrid I would have thought that they were the worse team we could have gotten. Ladyboy and diving cheating cunts being the reason.

May I add, Bayern would have been the worse team we could have gotten. Solid and game changers all over the pitch, plus they want pay back.

In short, I am starting to stress and whilst it feels terrible it also feels great to be stressing about big games at the end of April.

John Solano trying to lure us into a false sense of security.
