I don't think we played well at all tonight. Better in the second half, obviously. But terrible in the first.

Still progressed comfortably!

But in the past couple of years we wouldn't have hung on

Sign of a good side being built

Tonight was the night this teams balls dropped.

The boys have become men - regardless of what happens in the semis or maybe final.

This team has arrived - ok we haven't won anything yet but we will soon, we fucking will soon - may not be this season (it might of course) but it is coming soon.

Well in.

I think Henderson put it best.

We here on merit and to reach the semis with such a paper thin squad is a remarkable achievement. Compare the benches of both teams tonight and just look at the depth - absolutely insane.

Klopp is certainly building something special here and a huge credit to the players. Defending and attacking as one - a real force that's just broke Uniteds record of 32 goals in a single campaign. That record is now 33.

Whoever we get in the next round doesn't matter. We've shown two sides of us this CL campaign, a team that only allowed the PL leaders to score one goal, and the team that battered Porto and the like ruthlessly.

I'll back us against anyone.

Top four is still the priority but I'd take another CL trophy over anything.
