Made me think about when I went to the louvre about 10 years ago and saw a painting of Jesus carrying the cross up the hill to be crucified, only to see there was a woman there selling merch.

I’ve no idea how it ended up in my ‘feed’ but it throws up a whole range of ‘northern’ artists and subjects. I’ve since bought a Peter Blake print and we’re off in search of Lucy Manfredi’s pictures at the Fine Art Gallery in Todmorden next month
