More CL changes next season

Every team knocked out of CL qualifiers now go into the EL.

12 subs on the bench for CL EL and Super Cup Finals. All other games still only 7 named subs

A 4th sub can be used in knock out stages in extra time.

No player cup tied if transferred during the January window even if played for another team in the same competition.

Games to kick off at 5.55pm and 8pm UK time.

Every game from the quarter finals will be 8pm kick off.

The best change anyone made to the Champions League was to get rid of the second group stage in favour of another knockout tie.

They should have gotten rid of the away goal in extra time. Gives the opposition an extra half hour to get one. I will, however, be tweeting a different tune should our tie with city go to extra time and we get one. Then city can fuck off

Here's an idea, only let each country's champions in the champions league, which we could give a new name to, something like the 'european cup'.

 

Then we could start a new competition for the fa cup winners from each country and call it the european cup winners cup.

 

Everybody else who qualifies for europe can go in the europa league which we'll rename the 'uefa cup'.

 

Oh and all competitions will be two legged knockout ties up to and including the semi finals. They'll all be played on wednesday nights, as will the finals of each competition!

I’d get rid of extra time in the final, personally, and if it’s a draw after 90, award the trophy to the team with the highest combined Facebook likes and twitter mentions.
