Palace away will be a tough game. The international break usually upsets our rhythm and then we have a tricky match after that. Crystal Palace have some match winners, and in the bits of their game I saw today Zaha looked head and shoulders above the rest.

That game in 2014 the crowd were rabid from the off never mind as they came back and i didn't understand it as they were already safe - but they absolutely gloried in coming back and seeing us suffer...they'd be totally different IMO for the fucking mancs who they have lay down for time and time again.

It had nothing to do with it being “us”. The atmosphere at palace that season was bouncing all year, and it was their last home game of the season. They wanted to go out with a bang in terms of result and their enjoyment of the game.

 

Their crowd that season was quality, and it must have been great fun going to watch them all year.

Then some application and battle at Palace will be needed, as I can’t see us playing free flowing football just yet as we have form for stuttering back to life after the international break.
