Yeah, it's pretty hard to imagine a scenario where Chirivella tears up the Norwegian league so hard that Klopp demands to get him back. The buy-back clause is just to get us some more money if he does well.

Also, I think the Woodburn loan to Villa is inspired. They have a big hole where Grealish was, he'll get 30-35 games if he stays healthy. And they finished fourth last season in the Championship so they won't be that terrible. If he does well they should/could finish in the playoff spots again and he'll get some really valuable experience.

Don Balon says Klopp is in talks with the agent of Dembele of Barcelona...

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is reportedly in talks with the representatives of Barcelona star Ousmane Dembele, as he attempts to set up a sensational move.

The France international has been heavily linked with a move away from Barca this summer, after struggling to make an impact in his debut season at the Nou Camp.

Arsenal and Bayern Munich are amongh a host of clubs touted as possible destinations, while Klopp has publicly admitted his admiration for the youngster.

When asked last month about the possibility of signing Dembele, he said: “Is he available? Then I’m interested.”

It now appears that a move may actually be edging closer, if reports in Spain are to be believed.

Don Balon state that Anfield chiefs are in discussions with Dembele and his agent.

The report goes on to claim that Barca do not trust the 21-year-old to perform, and following the capture of Malcom from Bordeaux, are willing to cut their losses and let Dembele leave.

Despite splashing out £135.5m to sign him for Borussia Dortmund last summer, they’re prepared to let him go should Liverpool bid €100m (£89m).

Klopp has made no secret of his desire to replace Philippe Coutinho after failing in his pursuit of Lyon star Nabil Fekir, and may be keen to take advantage of Dembele’s sudden availability.

Better off at a top championship club that's likely to be playing attacking football and pushing for promotion than a shit premiership club thats going to be playing defensive football trying their best not to get relegated.

How do you think SteveO would describe Dembele if we were to get him? ‘A pace merchant with no end product - a poor man’s Bolasie’?

A poor man's Bolasie despite costing about six times as much... yeah, that sounds like SteveO's logic.

As soon as Origi, Ings and Markovic have gone I reckon we'll slap the money on the table for someone.

We will slap the £12million we get for those down on the table and FIFA 18 style the manager of the other teams will wave their arms the air like hysterical fannies wondering where the rest of the money is.

We'll get £40m for that lot. We've been good at getting the money in recently.

Good at getting the cash when it comes to the actual sale.

Not so good at setting up the sales judging by some of the unflushables we have roaming around Melwood.

We sell those lads and we'll be left with a £50m, £180k/week situation to go out there and target a "statement" signing. Go throw it at Madrid, offer them their asking price for Marco Asensio and see what they actually say when we slap it on the table.
