You won’t be disappointed if we bring in £100m in sales and still don’t replace Coutinho?

The 100m is irrelevant to my disappointment. Disappointment is irrelevant to criticism. Criticism will be coming regarding not supporting the manager if we recoup lots of money for shit players. It’s how it has been, I doubt it’ll change now.

We also should avoid confusing not signing a like for like replacement and not spending the money. It was clearly being laid out for Fekir. It wasn’t lack of support for the manager that stopped that deal.

100m coming in would give Klopp the option to bring in someone if he wanted to. What we have to remember with Klopp is he will not settle for second best regarding transfers.

If Fekir is his one and only AM target then it will be all or nothing.

I do like this way of acquiring players even if it is a bit frustrating.

He has moved onto 2nd targets more often than not so why do we have to remember this?

Players who desperately want to join get waited for. Players who go elsewhere or don’t get moved on from. Wait for the ones you know you can get. If there’s a suitable alternative, get him or wait for him. He’s certainly willing to wait. He’s pragmatic, though,

Why are we even talking about this?

Van Dijk and Allison.

Who was in front of Salah?

Allison we went after and signed this window. There was no wait. It all comes down to the down to the time he ‘waited’ on vvd. Despite it being obvious we could never have afforded him without the Coutinho sale.

Now he’s apparently waiting for a player we could sign but don’t want too.

No man -- we identified Alisson months ago (along with every other club in the world) and the deal was off until they came back to the table.

Do you really think he would have bought another keeper this window if that didnt happen?

We now hold the hammer -- that has not been the case in a few decades.
