The ‘Buy Nabil Fekir’ Campaign

Recommended Posts

Listen, Stacksy. It’s really cool and stuff that you can read other languages but it would be nice if you could translate this shit for those of us that can’t be arsed.

Olympique Lyonnais informs that the tripartite negotiations with the Liverpool club and Nabil Fekir for the transfer of the captain of OL have not succeeded and that Olympique Lyonnais has decided to put an end to this negotiation tonight at 20h.

Although the club Liverpool has been the priority of a possible transfer of Nabil, and subject to other proposals consistent with the interest of Nabil and OL and from ambitious clubs, Olympique Lyonnais is delighted soon to be able to count on the presence of his captain who is a leading rookie for this season 2018/2019 during which the club will play the Champions League being in the 3rd hat of the draw.

That's a shame.

Of course we'll have a backup target, but it is a disappointment for Klopp & Edwards, I'm sure. Just have to start negotiations from scratch with whomever it is and that's never ideal as Klopp would have wanted it done before the World Cup.

On the plus side, it might just be that our plan B is cheaper and as such we might consider going in more strongly for Alisson?

The most reliable Lyon journalist is saying that we tried to lower the fee on the transfer or tried to fuck with the incentives and add-ons after the medical.

Can't blame Lyon if true, that's bad faith.

Or Lyon are trying to save face and stop his value falling. They know we won't come out amd say he has a long term isdue with his knee and want to keep his value up.

Or a bit of both

Whatever the issue is, to have a transfer fall apart like that when everybody said it was done doesn't look good.

It doesn't look good that we would pussy out at the eleventh hour and it would especially not look good if we we're gonna go through with it anyways by trying to fuck with the already established fee.
