The ‘Buy Nabil Fekir’ Campaign

Recommended Posts

I've grown quite fond of Fabinhos wife over the last week, she seems to like getting quite involved in Fabs work, and she's also quite fit.

Not sure where she ranks in my league table of Liverpool wags, but she's definitely going to be making a title challenge next season. Perrie better watch out.

I love Fekir, but if his transfer is getting anywhere near £65-70m, then we need to just go buy Dembele instead.

Dembele is going to be one of the best 5 players in the world in 2-3 years. Fekir is an excellent player and could become borderline world-class playing with our attack, but he is just not on that level. If we're going to sacrifice one of the players we've scouted and planned for because the Dembele thing just dropped into our laps unexpectedly, I'd rather give up on Fekir than on Alisson or another top goalkeeper.

Barcelona chairman has stated Dembele is going nowhere. After Tello and Montoya we should know better.

Worth bearing in mind ... Lyon could let him have a medical without agreeing a fee. I seem to remember Aulas being difficult to negotiate with before.

Wants a bidding war but for the price he wants how many clubs can:

A. Afford him

B. Guarantee him first team football

C. Be attractive enough that he wants to go there?

Don’t think B applies to us. Not if we’re playing the current formation anyway.

Echo- Deal for Fekir not agreed, Liverpool remain determined to get the deal done

Liverpool are NOT on the brink of concluding a deal for Nabil Fekir – but remain determined to snap up the £60million-rated Lyon midfielder.

Reports in France overnight suggested Fekir and his agent were due on Merseyside on Sunday for talks with the Reds, with there a possibility the player could undergo a medical should negotiations go well.

However, such a claim is premature, with Liverpool not anticipating any such significant movement this weekend.
