Sheffield FC, the "World's First Football Club", are only 15 minutes drive from me but are about to start work on a new ground which is 15 minutes walk. I've been to a couple of games and meaning to make it a more regular thing with some friends; now seems as good a time as any.

I saw Blyth Spartans play against Sheffield FC in the FA Cup quite some time ago.

Used to go quite regularly but stopped when they put the ticket prices up to a tenner.

We had a non league version of Le Tissier as well. He was highest scorer in the country when we got promoted to the Conference North, but had a tendency to be quite lazy and then do something spectacular occasionally.
