I have to say we are looking rather healthy on that front should those we have carry on improving and being consistent. 

 

Robertson (23)

Chamberlain (24)

 

I've stuck these two in as they are both still relatively young despite having quite a bit of experience playing at this level. Klopp has them playing with more confidence and they seem to be flourishing under his management. 

 

Gomez (20) Needs to concentrate for the full 90 but for his age he is very good and will benefit from playing alongside VVD in the future. Also versatile. 

Arnold (19) Looks like a real talent and he is definitely a team player who knows he is gonna be rotated, doesn't sulk but just gets on with the job at hand when played. 

Solanke (20) (Hoping he'll come good, time on his side. He's struggling a bit when played but he has shown at International level that he has the goods)

Wilson (20) (hopefully he'll get more chances). 10 goals in 11 games for the youngsters and still learning 

Woodburn (18) could well make it, probably benefit from a loan deal, reckon the early adulation got a bit much for him. 

Brewster (17) Certainly looks one for the future, really excited about this lad pushing for the first team in a season or two.

Don't we need 8 for CL squads including 4 from the academy? We're a bit thin on that front .

 

I'd like some more talented younger players ideally locally but realistically we just need better players than we have and I couldn't care where they are from.

 

I don't think solanke, Woodburn, Brewster or Wilson will make it with us. You have to be exceptional right away and they all need more time than we can give them.

 

Hopefully I'm wrong like.

Didn't realise Robertson wouldn't count. We have other homegrown players in the squad to reach the required numbers, just left them out due to age.
