I wonder what the response from British politicians would be to this story if it was the Iranian embassy or syrian. If this is all brushed over it highlights to me how we turn a blind eye to pure evil as long as it's profitable.

I think it was on the James O'Brien show on LBC where an Middle East envoy type said that until the Iraq war dossiers and more lately Trump and Brexit, these countries wouldn't have dared to have carried out hits like this. But the loose relationship we and America now have with the rule of law they aren't bothered by any telling off as it can be brushed off as easily as Trump brushes off accusations with a tweet of "Fake News'. I'd expect more like this to happen.
