Starting to think that the urgency to get the Ox in at such a high fee was that we wanted to get him in early to bed him in as we’d promised phil he could go this month.

 

The timing of his sale so soon after vvd signed says to me that if we’d have been able to land vvd and Keita in the summer too then he’d have been allowed to leave then and this is why he kicked up so much fuss at the time.

 

There’s no way we’re going big this January as we’ve got 2 of his replacements already in, with the other already signed for the summer.
