Met a few with Asian brides. Some used to come over on the boats at Christmas to do some shopping.

Seriously I remember one boat landing and I asked how was the catch.

100 ton was the answer

Some species of deep sea shark. 100 fuckin ton.

That cannot be good for the sea.

 

The other thing these boys do is fillet cod and hang it from lines all across the ship So it get air dried. I got some once fuck me it is grim.

Even the seagulls won’t go near it.

Its like a Viking Invasion except they spend loads of money, flood the market with ace fish and drink like mentalists.

 

2 or 3 Faroe boats a week keeps our whole economy going and not just the pubs.
