Tis all gone quiet on this one...

The market obviously took a huge dip and is stagnating. Not much to be posting about right now.

 

I don't envisage the prices dropping much from here, Just waiting for the next bull run and accumulating where possible.

I’m doing well shorting small amounts of ETH. It’s a reasonably predictable cycle. CEX is well set up for it. Easy deposits, quick transfers and quick w/ds that are cheap. Watch those candles, but the high/low figures over 24 hrs tell you a lot.

I think we're bottoming out now. I know Investment Banks are opening crypto desks between now and June, so I think the price has been manipulated to get the prices as low as possible prior to the next wave. 

 

What I am basically saying is that now is the time to buy, imho, dyor etc.

The market is now up about 50% in the last 3 weeks or so. I'm double my investment on WAN and have now bought ZIL and OCN.

It's WAY down! Bitcoin at 6300$ and I suspect it might go lower... it was at $3300 at this time last year though. If you ever want to get in, now is the time.

 

I really like two projects at the moment, Bit.tube $TUBE and Polyswarm $NCT

 

I'm actually down from my maximum balance by about $16,000, but who knew that was the top of the peak at the time. I'm still up on my initial investment, but not by much. I'm going to buy some more this month as long as cashflow allows.

It's decentralised YouTube effectively. You get TUBE coins for watcing and more again for people viewing your content. It's not centralised and controlled by corporate interests. It only needs to get 1% of the YouTube market to make me a shit load of money.

It's the same with all speculative bubbles, isn't it? Some people will make a great deal of money and some people will lose a great deal of money. The only question is how soon it takes for the whole thing to come crashing down.

We're back to the prices of about a year ago. It's going to take time for people to gain any confidence in the market now. I think if you buy sensible projects with a real world use and a great white paper and sit tight for a couple of years you could do very well.

 

I hope nobody invested money that they couldn't afford to lose.

It was fun for a while. But realistically it has no real world value and the amount of energy required for mining doesn't sit easy with me.

 

The only way I feel you could see it really working is in countries where inflation is so high that cash has no value. But those countries don't have the tech know-how or money to implement the tech required to go full crypto. It will be 30-40 years before it's fully mainstream.

Invest in green tech.
