This lad I used to work with , a good laugh mind, was conspiracy mad and would try to point out things about the moon landings , even though I explained to him that it would be some cover up considering the thousands of people involved plus the various countries, USSR too I believe, input to the programme and for the past 50 years.

Also he was convinced Paul McCartney’s dead , you know the hidden clues in songs etc , mad but funny.

Interesting article on the view from the USSR.

This is always the clincher for me; if it had been faked, the Soviets would have been all over that shit.

That has always been the one for me as well. The idea that if they hadn't the Russians would have just gone along with it and not pointed out it was bullshit.

What if the Russians faked Laika nad Gagarin and Americans knew it so they had to keep stumm on the Moon? Mao must have been furious with all that cheating.

Been watching this.

Three part series that aired under the ‘American Experience’ banner on PBS. It’s a three part series, two hours for each episode. I watched and enjoyed the first two episodes before I realised that the third and final one doesn’t appear in all the usual places.

Fuming. That’s four hours of my life I’ll never get back.
