Las Vegas shooting

I get that but unless everyone wants the hotel to be scanning bags on entry it just seems a cop out. Surely if you can go after the hotel then you should be able to go after the gun shops, makers of bump stocks and overall manufacturers of the weapons, I'd put them three at far higher culpability than the hotel.

But I guess it's america and there's always someone to blame, just not the NRA

Its completely not the NRA's fault. In-fact the NRA rightly said that if everyone at the festival was armed then they could have spotted the shooter sooner and taken him out.

Money Machine on Amazon Prime documentary about this, the subsequent 'cover-up' and Vegas itself. Unreal. The Vegas Police and FBI were very very quick to shut down theories of a second shooter.

Also the likes of MGM etc are fucking shady. (No shit - but even worse)

I think the mob got run out of town in the 80s and 90s didn’t they?

Yeah. They say in this documentary though that Vegas was safer and ran far better when the mob ran it though. All they did was skim off the top line. Petty crooks etc were fucked right off.

Fairy nuff, I haven't been there since 1980. First time I went to the US.

I remember on the local news channel in the hotel was the headline that Bugsy Luigiano (or something like that)  had been shot in what was thought to be a drugs related shooting. Sounds fun.

Just watched the first two episodes, terrible situation to find yourself in .some truly heroic acts carried out that night by the people who fought the urge to run,but stayed and helped people.I would like to think I would do what I could, but until you are actually faced with the horror of the situation, I don't suppose any of us would know what we would actually do.
