I'm unlikely to predict the team exactly but I'd like to see Solanke up top and Grujic in midfield. I'd have Salah and AOC offering width.

What!? No way will solanke be starting ahead of bobby, neither can I see Marko starting in midfield. Could see coutinho starting or maybe just go with ox chambers instead of mane.

Bobby and Salah have strarted every game (bar Palace), so I'd rest them for this game. I think playing two out and out strikers would help break down a deep compact back four.

------Sturridge----Solake-------

Coutinho---Can--Milner-----Ox

Robertson-Matip--Lovren-Gomez

-------------Mignolet------------

Klopp has made a point about players not playing every game. The reason I suggested those two is because Solanke offers presence and good movement and is very good with his head, and Grujic offers a real presence also with a higher chance of scoring, imo of course, than the likes of Can, Wij or Hen do.

I quite like aRdJas line up too.

I think we need to learn to play these teams, who come to defend, differently to how we have approached them. We need a bit of physicality, not replacing like for like.

With Mane out, we'll see if the squad can  handle his absence better than last year.

I badly want to see Robertson too, I just want to see another defender that isn't a mistake waiting to happen.  Klopp likes to take his time introducing newbs though, so who knows if we'll see him or not.

I'd do something like this:

                                                                             Sturridge

                                         Oxlade                        Coutinho                         Salah

                                                          Can                                 Milner

                           Robertson                      Lovren                Matip                           TAA

                                                                           Mignolet

We absolutely don't need 3 centre mids against a team like Burnley and I'd rest Firmino.

Gomez in for Lovren and that's exactly what I'd pick. With Coutinho, Ox and to a lesser extent Milner all able to play in the middle or out wide, we could swap players round or switch to 4-3-3 if we wanted to. Bring Solanke off the bench if we want a bit more presence in the box late on.

We all know Klopp is gonna have Wijnaldum going AWOL in midfield with Firmino stuck on the left wing being nowhere near as effective as he can be, though. Will obviously wait until 75 minutes to make a sub as well.

Jurgen Klopp has hinted Philippe Coutinho could make his first start for Liverpool this season against Burnley on Saturday, after a turbulent summer disrupted by transfer speculation.

Coutinho was linked with Barcelona throughout the summer window after handing in a transfer request at Anfield, although a transfer to the Nou Camp failed to materialise after Liverpool refused to sell the Brazil international.

The 25-year-old missed the start of the season through injury but returned to first-team duties on Wednesday night as a second-half substitute in the 2-2 draw with Sevilla in the Champions League.

"For sure, we're ready to think about him [starting against Burnley]."

While Coutinho could come back into Klopp's starting line-up, the German will have to cope without Sadio Mane, who will serve the opening game of his three-match ban following a red card against Manchester City.

Liverpool have a significantly worse win percentage without Mane, but Klopp insists his side have enough strength in depth to deal with the loss of the Senegal international.

"It was clear before the season that there would be moments he could not play," Klopp said. "That is how we reacted in building the squad so we have options.

"Roberto [Firmino] has already played left wing and of course Phil [Coutinho] can play there. Alex [Oxlade-Chamberlain] can play there. We have more options so it's good, we can change the system.

"It is always difficult to replace top class players in a really good shape but we did it last year. We had to play without him and I think we did really well in most games."

Liverpool will be hoping to bounce back from their heavy 5-0 defeat to City when they host Burnley.

The Clarets have made a promising start to the season under Sean Dyche and have already picked up four points away from home at Chelsea and Tottenham.

"What I really like about what Sean Dyche is doing there is that they have a clear plan - you can see it in each game," said Klopp.

"They don't make one step left and one step right, they stick to the plan. That's so clear and difficult to play against because those players show so much desire to defend in all situations.

"There is not one player in the team who you think gambles a bit. It is a big strength for Sean. Nobody should think that tomorrow is an easy game for us."

The one thing I'm sure we shouldn't do is fuck up the one thing going for us by scraping it and playing dumb English players in a 442.

Alex Ferguson showed us the template to beat sides who park the bus. Two strikers, and play direct high-tempo football. I'm not sure why you think it's 'beneath' us.
