Transgender stuff - what's going on?

The IOC rules in place now were just a shambles. Looks like it seems they’ve seen sense.  Too late obviously.

On the other stuff it seems people pointing out the madness weren’t crazy, transphobic or bad people.

The number of people who have to climb back will be funny.

It seems to be going the other way though. Who's pushing for this? Gender as a social construct- OK, but that really wasn't ever what was meant by it. Ignoring sex though, that's fucking stupid.

Here's a question to throw into the mix. Transgender people can have smear tests even though they don't need them (I think, the link reads like the man from St Ives) presumably this is more about avoiding perceived discrimination, but how many women get ill/die because they're not see as fast as they would otherwise have been?

https://www.nhs.uk/common-health-questions/sexual-health/should-trans-men-have-cervical-screening-tests/

Remember a few pages ago when someone (a bloke obviously) said - “how many women don’t know what their cervix is?” and it turned out to be 50%?

Of course it is. But you’re a bigot now for saying that.

Fuck me Rico, why are you so obsessed with finding obscure cases of shitty behaviour or scenarios from Trans people (and its never male to female I might add) and acting like you are the minority here? There are 7 billion people on the earth, a sizeable percentage are gobshites and yes even those going through dysphoria are capable of it too.

But for fucks sake acting like you give a shit about Archery and Weightlifting and decrying one tiny bit of representation as all that is wrong with the world comes across as obsessive.

Now go and find another highly controversial tweet that's pro-trans, act like it represents the entire community and then declare everything mental.

From a man who thinks his testicles are the funniest thing the world has seen.

You’ve even got your MTF/FTM mixed up so apologies for not taking anything you say seriously.

Can you think why it would be problematic to women if they weren’t a protected class?

What's that got to do with Archery?

It shows you haven’t a clue what you are talking about.  You’re in fantastic company though.

Let’s get straight to the point - do you think trans women are women?

Do you think Alex Drummand is a lesbian?

Do you think Pippa Bunce flips between a man and woman at least 3 times a week?

As for your question about protecting women, I don't think you can paint too broad Strokes as it all depends on the scenario.

My take is that most pro-trans moves in society seem to be positive and inclusive but in history society has such an ingrained relationship with separation of genders that there will always be contentious and shocking changes and perhaps not always for the positive.

As humans are often cunts maybe there are a handful of people that take advantage of trans rights by perving in women's toilets or whatever, does that mean that all trans people deserve to continue to be oppressed?

It's not a simple subject and I am far from having the answers. It just feels like for once give trust to the oppressed minority.

Ha.

So, protecting women depends on the scenario.

A huge word salad, but women giving up rights.

Men offend more than women.  That, with the fact grifters will latch on mean women are at risk.

This is beautiful- you think men are the ‘oppressed minority’

Now, answering any of my questions?

OK professor, please educate me on protecting women by not letting a trans athlete appear in an obscure sport.

Do I think Trans women are women? I think they should be treated as such if they want to in the vast majority of cases as why is it hurting anyone? I'm sure you can trip me up on some obscure scenarios where it is genuinely problematic, congratulations in advance.

I don't know who those 2 people are I'm afraid as I am not nearly as obsessed on the subject.

Do you genuinely believe the vast majority of trans and dysphoria affected people should continue to face such horrendous levels of oppression and marginalisation due to a tiny proportion of sex cases taking the piss?

Ok, here goes.

- how do you define an obscure sport? How do you tell the women in these sports ‘sorry, blokes are allowed in because we’ve decided they are obscure’

- Obscure scenarios? Like the ability to play sports, or have the protections laid down in the law.

- I think the law now is pretty good, anyone who wants a GRC has to show a level of commitment.

Now, Pippa and Alex?

Lets take the scenario where trans people use the bathroom they feel most comfortable rather than what genitals they were born with. Am I right in thinking you are against this because it endangers women from trans mega perv nazis?

My feeling is the greater good would be that the preferred bathroom is allowed.

I know you like to call transwomen men but yes I do believe transwomen are an oppressed minority, I think you'd have to be 'mental' to claim otherwise.

How about if women feel more comfortable with just women using their bathrooms?

The obscure sport part is you getting upset about a sport neither of us care about due to trans participation. How is a transwomen participating in Archery endangering women?

I still don't know who Alex and Pippa are.

Ha ha. It’s not endangering women. It’s taking away opportunities.

Men make better women.

As far as I can tell they aren't all getting their fannies out in a game of show and tell (though I think I have seen that porno), so they can continue to go to the toilet as they have always done.

Mad isn’t it? Bearded people should be allowed in, 2 out of 3 days blokes should be allowed in.

Some women (by your definition of the word) have facial hair. As the knight in shining armour, defending the honour of women everywhere, are you saying they don't get to use the women's bogs either?

Ha ha ha ha that’s fucking brilliant!

A person who admits they were born male, has no surgery, is married to a woman, has children with that woman (n.b. Inform science how that happened), has a fucking beard, is the guy you are standing by?

This isn’t a woman with facial hair. This is a man.
