Naming the websites that were used to access kiddie porn in an Echo article isn’t the cleverest thing to do, is it? Although I’m sure there’ll be a few regular posters on the FF that will appreciate it.

Stig posts on the GF too.

What always makes me laugh about this sort of stuff is that for people who claim gender is a construct, quite a few seem to have what I'd call a 'constructed' view of gender themselves.

I'm a bloke, I judge my blokeness by the fact I've got a cock - it's not huge, but it does the job. I'm not macho, not very good at fighting, quite like a beer but will drink wine too, used to get beaten up because I wore Star Wars T-shirts as a kid, am not very good at footy or pool or any of that shit.

I bet a bird converting to mandom though would run out and shave their head, buy a Doug Willis shirt and a big crate of Budweiser, if you offered them a glass of Rose wine they'd say 'that's for pussies' then pretend to scratch their balls.

I think at least some of the non  binary pronouns stuff is basically some people's way of making your go out of their way for them, thou shalt change your Twitter bio or your email signature, thou shalt trip over your own words when asking me if I want a brew, or suffer the HR/station announcer consequences. It's a more middle class version of when people go to the shops in their pyjamas, a way of attracting attention while simultaneously saying 'fuck you, I'll do what I want and you'll play ball'.

I think it’s quite often a mix between somebody who is confused and has a low self esteem. Lots of people are seeing the special status given to those with funky pronouns and are naturally subconsciously attracted to it. My biggest objection to they/them is the plural singular stuff.

If I get an email at work off someone who has all that stuff in their signature it’s usually a pretty good indicator that they are going to be ‘difficult’.

By the way, my money would be on Robbie Williams ‘bravely’ announcing ‘they’ are going down the same path before the years out. Definitely the type.

Didn’t Lovato get married the other day. I’d like to see the wedding video to see what she said during her vows.

I'd like to see the video of her husbands face when she whipped her cock out later that night

Careful, you'll be getting told to check your patriarchy or something.

Aye, I often think back to growing up in Speke, having no fridge, central heating, washing machine, landline phone or shower, being told by a Navy careers officer not to bother applying to be an officer due to my accent, and being told by the deputy headteacher at school not to bother with A levels and become a builder instead, and think about how privileged I was.

Class is always conveniently left out of gender debates in this country, it's always presented as a * cough * binary issue. But can anyone seriously suggest that a working class British man has an advantage over a middle class British woman? In any field?

The problem is the statement ‘trans women are women’. I don’t think any right minded individual has much of an issue with someone who’s shown a degree of commitment to becoming a ‘woman’ having some of the rights of women.  So getting a diagnosis, living as a woman for a time, getting a GRC etc. But blindly accepting anyone’s word that they are a woman is mental.

on this thread people have said ‘yes, we agree some of these blokes are chancers’ to some of the examples, but that enough to be a TERF.  Nothing less than 100% commitment to TWAW is allowed.

We are expected to believe that Pippa Bunce magically turns back and forth from man to woman depending on his/her mood during the week. That Alex Drummand, a man with a penis and full beard, is in fact a lesbian who is qualified to visit schools and tell young girls what it’s like to be a lesbian. It’s blackface.

That’s why the prison issue isn’t an issue to the middle classes. They aren’t ever going to prison.

It’s strange how you bang on about Trans Women all the time. Yet the prevalent trend is females becoming trans men. Why no uproar about your little sausage being seen by girls in the changing room?

Good point. trans women always dress in a ridiculous affected way, high heels lots of make up etc, like a kids drawing of a woman. The women I know actually wear jeans, t shirts and trainers most of the time.

Do you think part of this might be because if they were to wear jeans, t shirts and trainers people will probably insist on calling them blokes, or claim that they haven't shown the right level of "commitment" to have their identities granted basic respect?

I’m all for respect, who wouldn’t be?  But there are no magic words that turn and man into a woman (and in the case of Pippa, back  into a man again twice a week).

I guess that begs the question that on Pippa days do you think she is a woman?

my missus and her daughter were whispering to each other at dinner when i asked "what are you whispering for?"

The daughters reply was that it was y'know, women's stuff.

I then said "I identify as a woman today and therefore you should tell me what was whispered".

They were not amused.

I don't know who Pippa is.
