I know there's always a temptation among us fans to chuck everything out with the bathwater after the shambles of Saturday, but I'd keep basically the same team for tomorrow night. Part of that is hoping for a reaction.

For this game I'd be tempted to start with Milner at RB and Robertson at LB, for a few reasons.

Young Trent is going to be a key asset in the future, but he had a rough ride on Saturday, so he needs to be taken out of the firing line for this one. Sevilla are a battle hardened European team and he doesn't have the experience to deal with this kind of game. It's vital that we don't lose.

I'd play Milner at RB for the obvious reasons that he is solid, dependable, did a job at LB last season, has seen it all and is right footed.

I'd play Robertson for a number of reasons, most of which depend on whether he is match fit. The others revolve aound that I don't ever want to see Moreno play for us again.

Robertson is deemed good enough, by virtue of the fact that he was signed for the club on the back of two seasons of PL experience, plus, for me, he is an attacking Full back. If we play Milner at RB, he should be detailed to defend allowing Robertson to be the raider on the left.

As much as I'd like to see what Grujic can do, for a home game in Europe I'd keep a Midfield 3 of Can, Henderson and Wijnaldum. Two of those 3 can't possibly be as bad. ever again as they were in the scond half on Saturday and they should be kicked out of the tunnel with criticism ringing in their ears.

In days gone by, Fagan and Moran would have told at least one of them that they would never play for the club again after hiding.

That's only if Coutinho isn't ready. If so, he plays and Wijnaldum sits on the bench.

As painful as it is to say it, Lovren and Matip are our 'best CB pairing and I suspect Lovren was 'rested' on Saturday with this game in mind. Also I'd play them as I never want to see Klavan play for us ever again either.

The front three pick themselves, although Salah should have been bollocked for his dithering and knicker shitting in front of goal on Saturday.

In the past, we would have had players champing at the bit to take the places of underperformers like Wijnaldum, Henderson and Moreno, sadly these days are of shit players on wages that nobody else will pay, so we are lumbered.

A Midfield of Lallana, Can and Coutinho is probably the best we can offer, but I doubt we will see that for a while.

A defence of Matip, Lovren and two others is also the best we can offer, but sadly we didn't do much about that in the Summer.

Cant understand this rotation of keepers business. We've more or less got away with it so far (at least - it was not the defining reason for any poor result so far), but its going to catch us out before long.

Heading over for this later, I've got my:

- Half and half scarf

- Jester hat

- Big camera

- Small camera

- My Liverworld bag

Can't wait to screw a local of a seat and spent 90 minutes in silence taking videos of the corner flag.
