I recognise the team too regularly shit out when the chips are down.  You seem to overlook the fact that it was completely unnecessary to concede (that's how you spell it) another 4 goals while not having a single chance in the second half.   What sort of tactics, and what sort of implementation was that?

I dont overlook anything (and I'll pick up your future spelling errors if you want to go down the road of being a pedant) and your claim of the team regularly shitting out is a joke. You clearly dont grasp the concepts of one team bettering another during games and want to use childish terms to hide that fact.

Like I said, 10 v 11 for nearly 60 minutes.

Uefa cup final

Palace away

Leicester away

Stoke away

League cup final

Southampton away

There's plenty more Jimmy, they are shit out cunts.....

So every game we lost they're shit out cunts? Give your head a wobble, you'd think teams never lost.

Losing those particular games were disappointing. What about city at home in 2013/14? What about dortmund at home in the EL 2 seasons ago? There are other examples but frankly,I cant be arsed listing them.

Football's a game where there are winners and losers. Sometimes you play brilliantly and lose, sometimes you play shit and win. Its the nature of the game.

Sometimes you win 11 titles in 18 seasons.

Sometimes you win none in 28.

It can affect your mood.

If you objectively looked at the side or took over it as a manager from outside, assessed it and genuinely decided what we need.

Keeper

Centre Back x2

Left Back ( Robertson could do it )

Central Midfielder x2

Striker ( good fitness record and capable of 20 in all comps )

Been the same for years.

Tell me about it! I saw us win every title from the early 60's to the early 90's. And I keep banging on about 27 years without a title instead of winning a tin pot like the league cup in 2012 unlike some.

The football landscape has changed massively since 1992 but all I hear from lots of people is why dont we spend the money like city, chelsea and to a lesser extent united and then those same people whinge about sponsorship deal with western union, dunkin doughnuts and the like.

I'd love to wobble your head Jimmy, really would.... some of them games we were winning Jimmy as soon as the chips went down so did our heads... no fight whatsoever in that team....

Fuck me side ways. I never 'knew' some of those games we were winning and lost, bit like the Dortmund game I guess!

The stats for last season dont support your claim as we were one of the better teams for gaining points from a losing position I believe.

So Kozma here is saying our team is full of shithouse cowards, but jimmy is saying the players just aren't that good.

I mean I think the team is full of shithouse cowards who are also a bit shit at the old "playing football" side of things, so I don't really have a dog in this fight.

Im saying that some results are good when you play shite and some results a shite when you play good. Its the nature of football.

For those saying there's no fight in the team, this table shows how wrong they are but, its what happens when people base their comments on gut feeling etc.

LFC-PL-PPG-when-losing.png

It’s the club’s second best total in the last 20 years (after 2008/09, when 22 points were recovered) and as many points were gained from losing positions as in 2014/15 and 2015/16 combined.

To be fair Jimmy I think people would be more tolerant of the sponsorship fanfares if the money was spent on the squad.. and before you jump down my throat I am not saying that is all on FSG as Klopp clearly has a plan A player.

I think there's a lot of people who believe the nonsense about yachts and money being creamed off though.

The way I see it is this, we've missed the mega rich ownership thing for the foreseeable future. Ive no problem with the owners running the club on a stand alone financial footing. We need sponsorship to maintain that financial footing and yes, compete with the financially doped club both at home and abroad. We'll never really be able to go toe to toe with clubs like psg and city while their owners are prepared to use their country's and their personal wealth.

We missed the boat big time back in the late 70's after the Hitachi sponsorship but more so when sky introduced their 'whole new ball game.' People laughed at united's sponsorship and commercialisation. They arent laughing now.

I am as frustrated with some of our transfer dealings as others. Having said that, I recognise that sometimes things dont work the way we'd like. Its just the way shit happens sometimes.

Yes, we lost yesterday and the scoreline was disappointing. Im more interested to us brushing ourselves down and getting a result in the next game rather than throw away lines about the team \ players having no fight etc.

Disappointing? We lost 5 fucking nil. Not only that, we threw in the towel, we gave up. Cowardly and totally unprofessional. We have a team that shits out and bottles it when the pressure is on. Watch us now go on a good little run, then when we need a good result to really set a marker, to keep the momentum going, you can be sure that as night follows day, our bunch of weak, powder puff Nivea smearing cunts will shit the bed. They have got less bollocks combined than Adolf Hitler when it counts.

I don't like the 'cowardly' jibes towards the team.

There are very few times where I don't feel the effort is acceptable , it is simply playing deficiencies for me that hobble us before we start , and the fact that they are so glaring and long-standing makes it all the worse & probably stokes up the frustration.

I think there is also probably a disconnect between the fans & Klopp/FSG in that we are desperate for the title, but this weighs relatively low in finance & prestige to a good CL run/ win to an outsider.

We don't get the competence commensurate with the pay that these lads are getting.

To be honest - we absolutely do. They get paid more than the likes of West Brom and Everton -- we'll finish above them. They get paid a lot less than the likes of City, United, Chelsea -- we'll finish below them. In fact our position, our points .. sad way of looking at it, but if you want to be literal, it is all pretty commensurate with the investment .. although on the latter I wouldn't be too surprised to see us fall back into the 60s this season.

Jim, Rat, whatever.  The concept of one team bettering another during games is a given.  That's what makes football a competitive sport.  If you believe our brave midfielders and defenders showed the appropriate level of commitment, professionalism, tenacity and drive yesterday, then let's just agree to disagree.

My only issue with people calling this team bottlers etc is that some act like it's a new thing. We've had mentally weak team after team for 25 years, bar Rafa's team of 2005-09.

Klopp can't change that overnight. Time will tell if he can, if allowed, change it over a few years.

(edit, maybe also with the exception of Ged's team of 2000-02)

To be honest I was baffled he never fucked some of them off after they shit out of not one but two finals.
