Welcome to the new and improved TLW!

Some of you may experience issues logging in and will get an 'incorrect password' error. Don't worry, you haven't typed it in wrong and your password hasn't been changed. You will need to reset it though in order to log in. Click the reset password link and you will receive an email with your new temporary password. Once logged in, you need to choose a new password (or restore to your old one) otherwise you will be locked out again.

If you have an out of date email address linked to your account, then you won't receive the new password. If that's the case then you'll need to email me (dave @liverpoolway.co.uk) or send me a tweet @theliverpoolway and I'll update your password manually.

Any other problems or questions just let me know.

Thanks

Dave

Arrest made.

On suspicion of causing GBH. Looks like a section 20 offence then. The mens rea of that offence requires the accused to intend or be reckless to the causing of some harm, albeit not serious harm.

Early days, of course, but that kind of rules out the ludicrous accidental collision hypothesis at this juncture.

There was hardly another soul around him.

He shouldn't be hard to identify from that picture

Yeah I think he'll be found and charged.

They found Jihadi John.

Oops, didn't see Nelly's or Anubis' post.

You just have to look at his positioning at the start of the video and then at the time of the incident.

Plus at one point he's looking over the Bridge and starts to move into her path as he's not keeping tabs on his line of path.

A collision slightly due to one person (him) not paying attention to his surroundings. Nothing major and happens often with a normal sane person doing their best to get out of the way and avoid a collision, but then what follows next is inexcusable from him.

That barge says it all and I'm glad he's been found. The lead up to the incident doesn't come across as premeditated but the barge itself is telling.

What a cunt.

His left arm is key in establishing if it was an accidental collision or a deiberate assault.

It's clearly the latter. His left arm goes right across his chest to his right hand side, so he can effect a two handed push. That simply doesn't happen if it's an accidental collision.

If this was RAWK it would be locked by now

I've not been on rawk for years. What's the script with the anti-corbyn stuff? Socialist revolt or have they all gone Tory?

Looking forward to Carragher and Neville analysing this for 20 minutes on Monday night. Another nail in the coffin for zonal marking.

We should sign him. We need a bit of that.

It'll be interesting to see what his plea is and how the case progresses.

Have the police fucked up by going with a Section 20 charge?  I mean, isn't there a lesser offence they could have charged him with which would be easier to convict upon, Anubis? Nelly?

How do we know it's an arrogant "banker" from Chelsea? Maybe it's some mentally unstable person, unemployed teacher who has regular fits of aggression?

They've only arrested him on suspicion of it. The CPS will determine if, and what, the charge will be.
