I'm going on Saturday and a couple days next week.

Will be gutted if Bolt doesn't win. He is only the 9th fastest this year. Torn between thinking he is holding back for the final or whether his partying is taking its toll.

Looking forward to seeing Harrison in the hurdles and Thiam in the Heptathlon.

Lucky bugger. I live opposite our Cities (Bielefeld) Athletics stadium, get to see some good meetings but nothing close to this standard.

I've always liked Denise Lewis, really good looking women who has aged very well. She's 45 later this month!

She is like a fine wine. I was never that keen when she was competing  like.

Caster Semenya through to next round in 1500. Always raises a smile seeing her and Wambui running against these smaller women.

There is some size difference. A few midgets in this next heat, that last lass they showed 'Penn Freitas?' is cute.

Is the South African lad with the impeccable taste in football clubs performing here.

What a talent to be the world record holder at 400m and be able to run 9.95 at 100m ( He would be the 2nd fastest Brit ever after Linford Christie )

ps It appears Firmino is calling himself Sani Brown & has just won a 100m heat.

He is in the 200m and 400m. Favourite for both.

One false start and you're out. Absolutely shite.

I used to love all the false starts in the 100m. Turned a 10 second event into half an hour event. Built up the drama.

I have a few bets on. One is for a European to make the final. Even money. Ujah was my hope. Unsure how to take his run. There have been some decent sprinters. Coleman is the fastest in world this year and he looked very good in his heat.

It's a fast track apparently, could be some cracking later rounds in all the sprints.

I'm with you lads, one false start DQ is shite.

Made that look easy, not a great time though considering his pick up was poor.

If I was a really fast 100m runner I'd wear see through running shoes, paint my toenails different colours and shout chase me as I left the blocks.
