Couldn't find the Moreno thread so thought I'd rant about him here. He winds me up to the levels of Zenden and Glen Johnson. Why the duck wasn't Robertson playing the other night . Is Moreno going to be Klopps achillies heel?

Hopefully not. He's shown himself to be a really solid performer and his chasing and niggling is a joy to watch. He even raises the crowd when he gets stuck in. Surely he returns tonight.

Yep he has too. Best lb we have had in a long time from what I've seen.

His positional awareness means the central defenders aren’t being dragged out to cover him all the time (see Moreno A) so overall we are more compact. He generally knows when to get forward, when to hold his player up etc. A bit of work needed on his crossing/final ball but overall looks like the left back we have been crying out for.

He is potentially another Steve Finnan.

A solid 7 out of 10 most weeks. The odd very good game, few terrible games. You know he is going to do his job and not have mamy mares and loose his head. Just a good old fashioned left back. Defender first but good enough to get forward and overlap creating width. Very happy with him

One of our best value signing for quite some time.

We haven't exactly made a habit of bargain buys in recent times.

No bedding in. Nowt.

Just took his chance.

Hope he goes without serious injury.

Sell Moreno he is not good enough to play for Liverpool.

Fitting Mark E Smith tribute there.

I like Robertson.

I get the impression watching him that he gives everything he has and is genuinely buzzing that he is playing for us.

That for me is as good as it gets.

Yep. And he doesn't put his hand over his mouth when he talks on the pitch.
