He was absolutely fine. No sign of the hamstring bothering him.

He'll be fine for Leicester on Sunday.

As was stated earlier, it now puts us in a position of having to rest him instead of him getting a rest for the last week. He's played every minute of the season so far. It was an opportunity to have a full week's rest on the middle of a hectic period. He knows how bad our injury crisis is.

Play him against Leicester and rest him and a lot of the others for Atalanta.

With us being pretty much through in Europe, we actually should be using the tine between league games for rest especially for the likes of Matip.

Yep agree with this - its a big bonus to be nearly qualified already and thats were we can rest players.

Yeah, it's fucking mental these international sides want to squeeze 4 games into a 10 day break and include all the travel there is. Nobody at all seems to care about player welfare.

It isn't, but I don't think the intensity drops. We have 12 matches between now and Jan 2. Hopefull we can get through to the next round of the CL next week and make the last 2 games U23 matches.

Yeah would be dead handy to get Europe boxed off early for a change.

He's boss with the kids, too.  If this football thing doesn't work out for him, he could always become a children's entertainer.

Yeah, bit of lint in my eye there or something ...

Seriously though, they all come across so well. Jurgen is as good on gauging character as he is on spotting ability.
