Woo! This kinda feels like an old school type of signing: a signing done without too many rumours going around before it was a done deal. Even though, of course, there's been quite a few articles about him the last weeks... No deals can be kept in the dark these days. I guess it just feels refreshing with a swift signing versus the signings that take months back and forth before they are concluded.

Old school fee definitely. Surprised Hull didn't ask for £20m odd. He's only 23.

 

We've been linked with Robertson ever since Sessegnon chances faded.

Hard to gauge the reaction of Hull fans as they're all currently in bits at the prospect of losing Tom Huddlestone but this fella reckons we've got a real player on our hands:

 

"Robertson as a left back isn't a loss - only got one foot, cant cut out a cross and constantly getting drawn into wrong positions - Tom is a bad loss though at least he could pass the ball, if we're relying on Meyler were going to be ****ed royally - his passing ability is pathetic"
