That wouldn't shock me at all. FSG wouldn't even talk to Barca yesterday when Barca were going to offer huge money. There's money there, obviously, they've spent a lot this summer and done deals for next summer, they put huge bid in for Lemar, and they're not trying to make a giant profit from Coutinho. It's easy to make them out to be cunts, but when it comes to money, just because they're not wanking it out everywhere, it doesn't mean they're witholding money.

Wouldnt be surprised if we tried to land the deals we wanted to land this summer, mainly VVD and Lemar. Both are top players, that (for now) wants to go to LFC, and we should capitalise on that. Ideally we'd pull a "Keita" on both of them; getting them signed asap and then get them in January (or, worst case, next summer).
