Charlton defender Ezri Konsa will stay at the Valley despite interest from Liverpool, according to the Daily Mail.

 

The report suggests the Reds were unwilling to match the League One club's £5m valuation of the player.

STURRIDGE ‘STALLING’ OVER INTER MOVE

 

For whatever reason, Daniel Sturridge is really not keen on moving to Inter Milan, but they are currently the only club to have met Liverpool’s loan criteria of a £2m-plus loan fee and a pledge to pay the strikers wages in full until the end of the season. Sturridge favours a move to Sevilla but the Spanish side are ‘yet to follow up their initial interest with a serious offer’.

 

Should Sturridge decide not to join Inter Milan, he will stay at Liverpool for the remainder of the season; the Liverpool Echo claim he is ‘desperate’ to face West Brom in the FA Cup this weekend as injury and illness have kept him on the sidelines since early December.

Chelsea has a shedload more than us out on loan so do City.

We're not even the best horders of players who will never play for us.

 

Joao Mario to West Ham on loan. Seems like a no brainer to me. They even want one of our players, It's an area we are short on and at worst we have a good player to rotate.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp won't green light a move for Thomas Lemar unless Monaco drop their valuation.

 

The Liverpool Echo says Klopp is reluctant to spend £90million on Lemar.

 

The Monaco midfielder has long been a target for the Anfield club and their interest has been fueled by the departure of Philippe Coutinho.

 

But Klopp is not prepared to stump up the huge sum being demanded by the principality club.

 

Lemar remains of interest, but it could be the summer until a deal is struck.

 

Reports on Wednesday suggested terms have already been agreed with the player.

Now I'm inclined to believe what other people on this forum have suggested...that we've already spent the Coutinho money on VVD and OX.

Reports coming out of Italy are now saying Emre Can has agreed a 5 year deal to join Juventus, on a Free transfer in the summer

 

There will probably be no new players in January *James Pearce*

 

#LFC have dismissed reports that they have agreed personal terms with Lemar although he remains a target for the club.

 

Adam Bogdan could leave #LFC this month
