If only he cared about quality as much as he cared about fitness.

That's funny because people like you were running around, losing their heads when Klopp stuck to his guns about buying quality (Keita, van Dijk, Lemar) instead of any old fucker.

Looks very selective of you. Not for the first time though, eh?

Robertson has a dangerous cross on him and a bit of pace but his first touch isn't great and he gets his body into some weird positions trying to control the ball sometimes. I'm fine with him being the backup left back for now.

Oxlade just isn't that good a player. He's backup for the wide positions because he isn't getting ahead of Salah, Mane or Coutinho. He's backup for the most advanced of the midfield three as well because he's not getting past Coutinho or a fully fit Lallana. If we get a few more injuries then he'll come in and do a job, a better job than the likes of Ryan Kent or Ben Woodburn could do at this stage of their careers. Probably not £35m-worth of a job but transfer fees are mental now, that's just how it is.

Robertson has impressed me everytime I've seen him play. Chamerlain one looks very odd a the moment but he's a real victim of our slump in form. If we'd won 5 of the last 7 and chamberlain getting cameos off the bench people are taking about him being gradually "phased in." Because we're struggling Chamberlain's lack of game time is another worrying aspect. But I must say I'm shocked just how little game time he's seen, I 100% try him in one of the 2 in the midfield 3. It's a long old season.

I'm done with arguing with retards so I can't even be bothered to explain to you why the above is a patent misrepresentation of anybody who shared the same opinion as me last summer. But here goes.

People on here really aren't able to think through complex arguments with numerous variables.

He didn't "stick to his guns" over quality at all, because his alternative was to leave himself with a lack of it. Read that back five times until you understand it. If I have a pile of shit on my dinner plate and I'd rather eat a steak - not buying a steak because it wasn't available would still leave me with a face full of shit and heart full of principle. I'd rather have a pizza.

Problem - lack of central defender

Option 1 - buy VVD

(Option 1.5 - buy one of tens of other very good players that are better than Klavan)

Option 2 - buy nothing of note

I'm tired of explaining this fairly simple concept. Do I need to draw a picture?

Haha. I love it when people like you try to play the 'superiority' card and fail miserably.  Go and have your pizza. It'll probably make you feel contented.

It's Edwards. It's all gone a bit Rodgers-era with Robertson and Oxlade-Chamberlain coming in and looking like they weren't greatly wanted.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain's transfer value has doubled since the summer, according to a study conduced by Swiss research group CIES Football Observatory.

The England midfielder joined Liverpool from Arsenal in a £35m deal at the end of the transfer window.

CIES specialise in using scientific estimation of player's transfer value.

On July 1, they had the 24-year-old valued at €27m, but despite a rough start to life at Anfield, Oxlade-Chamberlain is now valued at €58.7
