I'm guessing some players, possibly Shaq and Keita as prime examples, simply cannot handle the fitness levels demanded by the club,or at least on a regular basis and its something you can never be sure of until you sign and coach them. Keita is young though and has every chance of becoming accustomed to our regime. The likes of Shaq, maybe not so much but still a very useful squad player.

He did the same when they had the live shooting session before the European super cup and it looked innocuous but he was out for 4weeks if memory serves. I wonder if it's the same one he did against Barcelona and again at the African nations cup, as if it is, he may need surgery to properly fix it. Let's hope he can get fit.

Super player but maybe he's body just can't handle the rigours of the league and or our training.

I am always baffled by Shaq's calf injuries, he looks like he could handle being shot out of a cannon every week, let alone our fitness demands.

Keita on the other hand looks like any tackle would snap him in two.

More muscles, more chance of muscles getting damaged.

When he comes back maybe they'll look to give him a bit part role to reduce the chance of it going again, then hope the long break in the summer will sort it or maybe even an op. Got to get this right, he's got too much to offer.

Any African Nations to fuck him up again this year?

I'm getting totally bored with him. He might have epic abilities, he might need just a proper run, but we see next to fuck all because he's always fucking injured. Injured in a warm-up. Really? After like a million years out through injury?

I should know, but I don't; do we still pay them full-whack when they're injured? I mean what proper incentive do players have to be match-fit? I'd pay them fuck all.

From primary school, every team I've played for has two or three Keita, Lallana, Kewell, Cole types who get the tiniest of knocks and are practically operated on whilst writhing around on the pitch, then out for twenty fucking million weeks. Just piss off.

He would still need to get past the warm up
