Jesus, people really do see what they want to see. Some really good runs forward followed by some poor decision making and a weird reluctance to shoot, but he kept pushing us forward in the second half. Yes, he’s been disappointing, but he looked like our most threatening player for long periods tonight.

but let’s not let nuance and evidence get in the way of a circle-jerk-pile-on

Yes, he had a good second half. Whoop dee doo. He was also terrible for the goal we conceded and was largely at fault. How's that for evidence?

Leave the poor lad alone. He’s a wholesome gentleman defending the honour of a new lad finding his feet who deserves patience, not gleeful criticism.

He’s clearly not good enough to be starting games yet.

But I’m gonna stick my neck out and say I think he’s gonna be a good player for us.

No matter what happens you can say that about a midfielder or two who'll be starting.

Yeah there wasn fault for the goal although he did get isolated and held by Nolan. Think it was a collective defensive failing.

Gave the ball away and it's frustrating because you can see there's more of a player there than he's showing. But thought he grew into it, noticed he started coming and demanding and trying to get on the ball more as the game went on, and a couple of good runs, and great ball to origi with the last kick.

It's annoying because we want him to be winning us the game.

But i have absolutely no doubt he is quality, and it will click for him

Key passes/ tackles before the final ball for our last 2 goals. One of his better games today especially in the second half.

Played well 2nd half and was a lot further forward. Still always looks for the simple option which i suppose is not a bad thing. Great pass for the goal. Confidence boost before 10 day break.
