There's been flashes of brilliance throughout this season but there's been many performances where it looks slow, lost or takes too long on the ball and ends up getting tackled/fouled.

I think he's going to take some time and reminds me of how Firmino was when he first came to us.

Give him time, he could be boss in 1-2 seasons.

I liked the part where he stood on both of Townsends ankles - think that was his best bit.

I preferred the bit when he passed the ball to Firmino who then scored a goal. I think they call it an assist in the UK, or a serve in the US.

Yeah he didn’t have a good day. Lost most of his one on ones... and looked one-paced. I don’t think Klopp is helping him by playing him wide thigh.

No wonder Keita is struggling. He's got a German playing with his wide thigh.

He just looks really low on confidence. It's weird, because he should fit a Klopp side like a glove.

I wonder if the pressure of our league run is affecting him somewhat; he's the kind of player who probably needs to be allowed to make some mistakes as he's working his way into form, yet right now we lack that wiggle room.

I'm still confident that if Fabinho can get up to speed, and acclimatise to this team and the league, then Keita will be fine too.

I don't really like him in that inside left role.

I thought he was best before LFC playing in a CM two, that's where he got our attention & was impressing in CM, driving from deep & taking opposition players out of the game - then making the right pass.

For me his best game for us was playing against Burnley away, where I thought he was our man of the match & he played in a CM two with Henderson.  Milner also played that day but was everywhere but CM, it was very much a two in front of the back four.

On the inside left, he just seems a little lost.  He's playing OK, showing flashes of quality - my doesn't look comfortable in that role for me.  Get him playing in a CM two.

I'd argue all of Henderson, Fabinho, Keita & Wijnaldum suit that position the best.

Keita will come good.  Watch that Burnley away game to see him thrive.  Don't think he's played that role since & t's the only time we saw it this season.

Play players in their best position & they thrive.  He's currently a victim of his versatility.

Weren’t we absolute shite at Burnley away until they went in front in the second half?

If I recall that was one of the games where we tried to rest a couple of attacking players, then they came on and we won. I think we played with Sturridge or Origi, did we not?

I really hope you guys are right and he does come good for us given time, as others have said its probably not helping him much being played out wide.

However, given the fee we paid for him, 50m+?

Thats more than Salah, more than Mane and more than Firmino.

There's a tiny part of me that thinks he should be showing a little more, even if its only a little more awareness.

V poor today. Needs to take those chances because with players coming back from injury & Shaqiri providing far more spark on average, it's difficult to see where he gets meaningful minutes given the importance of the remaining 15 fixtures.

Agreed, Ox coming back is good for the team but not ideal for him. Especially cos Ox could also play that wide left role effectively, much more so than wide forward in a 4-3-3.

I honestly think Klopp should just give Keita a run of 5 starts as one of the 8s in a 4-3-3, and keep him on regardless of his performance-level.
