I think midfield is clearly one of the hardest roles to adapt to in a Klopp side. I can't deny that I too thought he would walk into our first choice side and instantly become one of our best players, but I'm not too worried yet.

Some players just take longer to settle, the hype surrounding him did him no favours at all, those like me who had never seen him were expecting some kind of Gerrard-Souness hybrid and as it hasn’t happened people are initially going to be disappointed as I was. I’m fine now with the fact he hasn’t hit the ground running so it’s all about being patient with the lad and giving him time, I’m sure Klopp will get him up to speed.

Hard to know what to make of this as, judging by the reactions of people on here and some of the stories in the media, he'd been read his last rites at the hospital after getting injured in the Napoli game.
