He doesn't so much control the ball, rather he intimidates it into doing his bidding.

Has Sturridge actually been putting some work in off the ball in pre-season games? Might be a good indicator that Klopp might give him a chance.

It looks to me like he has worked hard and he must have been given some assurances that if he works on his fitness then he has a chance to be involved. Otherwise £150,000 a week for being a sicknote for the last year of his contract would be an attractive option.

he needs to go, worst case scenario is he has a great season and gets a new contract.

He's gonna be like he was before his injury in 2013/14 I can feel it.
