After all that, it wasn't actually offside. They said Neil Swarbrick was the VAR official reviewing it, but those lines must have been drawn by Bobby Madley and his colouring pens. How skew-whiff were they?!

 

Also, when did the offside rule change to stop giving the benefit of the doubt to an attacker who was only marginally offside? Nowadays, a player only needs to be offside by the width of a gnat's chuff and he'll be called offside (IF the official's see it).
